 Think about it. You get taken down by a car and catapulted into barbed wire and a post. Would you get back on your bike and ride 35 km to the finish line? Then after the awards ceremony you visit the hospital and get 33 stitches to close your wounds. How sore will Hoogerland be? Does he ride his bike on the rest day? Would you get back on your bike and race?

July 4th Squaw Valley... View from the Palisades, Top of National Chute

What a way to end a great ski season. Hiked the Palisades twice and skied  National Chute. North Bowl and Hogsback were surprisingly good considering how hot it was.
Never tagged any rocks.
Still plenty of snow out there.
